Sir Elton John Georgian Experience

The multiple Grammy-winning legend and flamboyant superstar, Sir Elton John is performing in Georgia this September at Georgia’s new performance venue, the Black Sea Arena. He will perform his famous songs in Guria, Shekvetili on September 16th. The band will be playing hits and classic album tracks from Elton’s incredible career as well as selected tracks from his most recent album, "Wonderful Crazy Night".

Outline of the Tour Itinerary

Sept 12 - Tbilisi

Arriving at Tbilisi International Airport, transfer to the ‘Rooms Hotel’. Welcome to this chic hotel, a former publishing house in the charming Vera neighborhood and today a hub for local and international creatives. There is a throwback vibe to the decor: antique rugs, plush lounge couches, and a very-well-stocked library. Rest and unwind until evening and later enjoy a memorable Georgian degustation experience.

Sept 13 - Tbilisi (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the Hotel. Tour to old town: you'll enjoy a sightseeing tour of old Tbilisi, a charming town built along the twisting valley of the Mtkvari River. Your journey of discovering will take in the Sioni Cathedral and the 6th-century Anchiskhati Basilica, the oldest church in the city, before continuing on to see the city's history museum and the imposing 4th-century ruins of the Narikala Fortress, which once dominated the city from its hilltop setting. Lunch- “Keto and Kote”, free afternoon. Sulfur baths - experience in old town. Thermal spa and traditional bathing experience in unique individual rooms. Very popular and mentioned in travelers notes since early centuries. Alexander Duma, Pushkin wrote about them. Afterward, visit Dry Bridge- flee market, Famous Designer showroom visit - shopping, Opera House - Backstage visit). A special fine dining experience at the winemaker's house Dr.Glonti, Lagvinari Fine Wines ( Eko’s place, sit down dinner with a tasting menu from our Chef and Tanya Mann wine presentation), a special meal cooked by Chef Konstantin (celebrity Georgian Chef) and Tanya presentation of Lagvinari wines paired with the food.

Sept 14 - Tbilisi - Kakheti (B,D)

Early breakfast at the hotel, visit the National Museum to have a guided tour (Collection of Golden treasures from ancient Georgia) beautiful done and super contemporary high tech museum. Drive on to Kakheti- the largest wine producing region of Georgia and it is just a couple of hours away from the capital, Tbilisi. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a few days of wine tours and spas without jostling among hordes of tourists. If you are after a relaxing time in discovering a totally new culture with unique wines and food that is still at the beginning of its fast-growing wine tourism, the Kakheti region is the place to be. Take a walk in the fortified town of Sighnaghi. Drive to Napareuli, you’ll enjoy the dinner at "Twins Cellar” wine museum, you will see how Georgian sweet “Churchkhela” (walnuts coated in grape juice and flour) is made and Georgian bread “Shoti” is baked. Afterward, drive to Lopota Lake resort / Overnight.

Sept 15 - Lopota - Tbilisi - Batumi (B,L)

Early breakfast at the Hotel. Drive on to the direction of Batumi city (approx 5-hour drive). Lunch break- in a small village in Kartli Region, halfway through. Arriving at Batumi, check in to Radisson hotel / Dinner at the Local Restaurant.

Sept 16 - Batumi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Batumi walking tour at night includes visits to Batumi Boulevard and Musical Fountains, Statue of Medea, Piazza, Batumi Sea Port, Alphabetic Tower, Moving sculpture of Ali and Nino. Drive on to Black Sea Arena to attend the concert / after party at “takefive”.

Sept 17: Batumi (B,D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Batumi. Late in the evening meeting with the representatives of business sector/celebrities (depending on the interest of the guests).

Sept 18: Batumi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the Batumi International Airport.
